PVJ Casting

AUDITION VIDEO:  We want athletic ability AND personality, so show it to us!

1. First, tell us why we must have you, above anyone else, on the show.  (BE ORIGINAL!  This question is very important.  If you want to walk the walk, you gotta talk the talk!)   GET IN OUR FACES!
2. Show us what you’ve got.  Show us some moves and how you play against others in a game or 1-on-1.  Shoot some free throws, threes, and dunk it.  (If you can!)

Remember: Make sure you demonstrate the skills required to compete against elite athletes.  We want to see that you’re quick, strong, agile, and competitive!   Can’t find a game?  Then shoot some baskets or throw and catch the football.  If we see a lot of cuts in the video, we will lose faith in your abilities, so try to show us a continuous video. Can you show us your victory dance?

3. Answer these questions on-camera (with personality!):
   1. My name is ___________.  I'm a height, weight position from Hometown, State.
   2. Were you a good player?  Are you still a good player?
   3. Have you won any awards?
   4. Why did you not play in college (if applicable)?  Why did you not play in the pros?
   5. Could you compete in the pros?
   6. What is your personality like?  Cocky?  Quiet confidence?
   7. Who would you compare yourself to and are you as good as them?
   8. What derailed your career?
4. Is there anything else we should see?  What can you show us that will make us want you for the show?  Do you have a highlight reel?  Then send that in too!

NOW SEND IT TO US ASAP!  Must be post-marked or uploaded by January 4th, 2010!  You can send it to us on miniDV or DVD, or upload it here -- be sure to include your name!
