F.A.Q.

What will I be expected to do?

We will be testing the group in a series of football- or basketball-specific drills before we make our first cut.  If you survive that, we will then break you up into groups to scrimmage amongst yourselves.  If you survive the cut after that, you will be asked to perform the four (4) combine drills and sit down for an interview.

 How long will this take?

It depends on how good you are.  Could be a half hour or could be a few hours.

What should I wear?

Be prepared to run, sweat and show your stuff on the field.  That means, wear what you would if you were going to play in a rec league game.  Basketball tryouts will be held indoors and football will be held outdoors, so dress accordingly.  Football could be on turf or grass, so bring the proper shoes. 

Be prepared to try our combine drills (185 lb. bench press, 3-cone drill, shuttle run, and standing vertical leap), so you should bring a weight belt, weight gloves (if you like), and a towel. If you do well, you could be with us for 3 hours, so plan accordingly.

What else should I bring?

Yourself, your skills, Drivers License or government ID card, water, a snack, a pen, and your completed application.

I was on a prior season as a Joe, can I audition again?

Not for this upcoming season, because we are looking for new Joes to challenge the Pros this year.
